Teacher Spotlight: Beth Ripley

Next up in #HangerHall's teacher spotlight is our excellent science teacher Beth Ripley. The 2021-2022 school year marks her 12th year at Hanger Hall.

Her favorite books right now are Where the Forest Meets the Stars by Glendy Vanderah and The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett.

She describes Hanger Hall's community as both loving and inclusive. I feel blessed to be able to work with so many incredible women and students. She adds that single-sex education seems to minimize distractions to focus on their personal growth while deciding what kind of person they want to be and what is important to them.

Her advice to potential students: Hanger Hall does a wonderful job of providing a safe space for you to explore and develop the necessary tools to be successful in high school and beyond.

Her advice to graduating students: continue challenging yourself and pursue the life you want. Also, please come back to visit!
