Helping Our Community

At Hanger Hall, we strive to instill in our students the value of community service. Beginning in 6th grade, students are required to complete 18 hours of community service a year. Jen Beasley manages our community service initiatives and coordinates opportunities with several groups in Asheville. Previously, the girls committed a great amount of time to the Manna Food Bank and other local organizations. Students have also sewn pillows for the patients of Care Partner Hospice and regularly participate in campus clean-ups. While Jen coordinates the school-wide activities, girls are also welcome to complete their hours on their own or with their families.
