Welcome to Hanger Hall! We're so glad you're here.
Hanger Hall is a private middle school for girls. We serve grades 6-8 on our beautiful campus in Asheville, North Carolina. We provide our students with a tight-knit learning community and an engaging and rigorous curriculum--all in a challenging yet supportive academic environment. In this small, single-sex environment, our students are able to develop their own sense of identity without some of the distractions, drama, and isolation that often accompany a more traditional middle school experience. Hanger Hall students graduate with confidence, curiosity about the world around them, and the ability to self-advocate.

We welcome the chance to meet your family and to introduce you to our community. We encourage you to schedule a tour or visit us during an Open House. Take a tour of our website and please do not hesitate to call or schedule a visit. I trust that you will soon discover that what sets Hanger Hall apart are our students, our community, our faculty, and most importantly, our focus on nurturing the whole child.

Warmly,
Jennifer Schoolfield
Head of School
