I have been a part of the Hanger Hall family for 8 years now and I am thrilled to be serving on the board. Both of my daughters attended Hanger Hall. My younger girl is now a freshman at Hendersonville High School. My oldest is currently in the honors program at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. My husband, Jonathan, is a small animal veterinarian and owner of Laurel Park Animal Hospital in Hendersonville.
I am a speech-language pathologist with a specialty in pediatrics. I graduated from Wake Forest University and then obtained a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I was a member of the faculty at Western Carolina University for 4 years where I taught various communication courses and served as a clinical supervisor. Next, I spent 11 years working in the Polk County and Henderson County Public School systems. In 2015, I shifted my focus and became the proud owner of All Around Therapy, PLLC.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, creative writing and traveling. I am an avid Atlanta Braves fan and animal lover. In addition, I currently serve on the House Committee of the Hendersonville Country Club and volunteer in various capacities at First United Methodist Church. This will be my second year as a HH board member. It was absolutely thrilling to witness my daughters’ middle school experiences and I am truly passionate about the single gender education model. I am so excited to continue to contribute to the Hanger Hall community.
