I am the current Facility Chair and secretary on the Hanger Hall Board of Directors. I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. While in college at NC State, I met my wife, Donna Hale-Jones. We spent time living in Connecticut, Virginia, and Portland, OR before moving to Asheville in 2011. I am a managing partner in a sales training development company called Ignite Selling, Inc. I build corporate sales training curriculum, customized business simulations and manage the operations of my company. In 2002, I completed my MBA at Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
In my spare time, which there never seems to be enough, I like to take advantage of the natural beauty you’ll find in this area. I like to hike, float down a river in a tube, play golf, and check out new shops, galleries and restaurants downtown. I also love to travel – which is good because I get a lot of opportunity to do it with my work!
My wife and I are the proud parents of a current seventh grader at Hanger Hall and a current fifth grader at Isaac Dickson Elementary. I came to join the board at Hanger Hall the same way many people get involved – I was volunteered!! It was my wife that suggested I should look into joining the board, and I have to admit I am thrilled I took her advice. Being a part of the Hanger Hall board, and specifically in the roll of facility chair is an awesome opportunity and responsibility. I am happy to serve and look forward to helping Hanger Hall make the most of its 20th Anniversary celebration (and beyond).
