Sewing Club with Jen Hampton - 3:15-5:00pm (6-7 weeks)
Starting Sept 16th
We'll start with the basics, learning to sew straight lines by making pillows. They'll learn to make button holes and install zippers by making various types of pouches and bags. The skills in this first session will be built upon in the second session by applying the basics to garment-making. Each consecutive session will focus on fine-tuning basic skills and learning progressively challenging skills. There will be 4 sessions during the school year with the final one focusing on design and pattern-making.
For any sewist who participated last year and wants to do so again this year, we can focus on picking up where you left off by working on your own choice of projects with my help.
