Meet Shawn & Isabelle!
We were so lucky to have 2 of our new teachers join us this year at Camp Tekoa. Read on to see what they thought of this integral Hanger Hall tradition!
Q: What was one thing that you learned about Hanger Hall as a result of participating in Kickoff?
Shawn: The one thing that clearly stood out to me as I participated in this year’s Kickoff was how deep the love is from every staff member for our students and our learning community. I felt it and I’m sure every student did also.
Without a doubt, I know we’re going to have a phenomenal school year!
Q: What is a special memory that you will take away from this experience?
Isabelle: It was great to watch and participate alongside students discovering new skills during our activities. We witnessed the surprise and delight of a spark turning to a flame, decoded Morse code and launched soaring 6 foot long Atlarl darts! I also loved getting to see the wonderful, hilarious skits that the cabins came up with.
