One of the greatest challenges of middle school girls is maintaining their identity while discovering their emerging individuality. Many studies have concluded that girls of this age often perform best in small groups of other girls.
Hanger Hall offers an all-woman faculty with a maximum class size of 12. In this setting the girls are able to receive one-on-one attention from the teachers so they don't get lost in the shuffle. The teacher-student relationship can be close and access to instruction is immediately available. Middle school can be a formidable time and small, single-gender classes enable students to have personal talks with their teachers on a regular basis as they need.
